Ms. Thapa is a Chairperson with Sunaulo Parivar Nepal (SPN) which is a local NGO partner of MSI. She is a dynamic and highly effective leader and operations manager having demonstrated strategic vision and delivered results under extremely challenging social and political environments. As country director of MSI Nepal from 1994-2011, she was instrumental in expanding operations from a single clinic to sixty five clinics across Nepal. Most of this expansion and delivery of critical MSI services occurred during the Maoist insurgency. Her efforts led to a sustainable model for MSI Nepal and she has been recognized by her local and international peers as an excellent role model.
