MMarie Stopes International runs over 37 centres across nepal providing a full range of quality reproductive health services.

Marie Stopes International began as a centre-based organisation. While the majority of our clients now access services through outreach and social franchise, our centres remain the backbone for our operations in Nepal.

Centres play a crucial role as a base for training and act as a vital logisitics hub where our outreach teams and community-based distributors go to sterilise equipment and re-stock on clinical supplies.

Our centres represent the heart of our financial sustainability model. With the exception of those in urban slums, our centres are intended to reach people who can afford to pay and are competitively priced. The income generated helps fund outreach programs that serve the poorest women. This approach is particularly important in middle income families cause yet where there are still significant communities living in poverty with an extreme lack of healthcare service
