Pap Smear
Pap test is one of the screening tests to diagnose pre-cancer or cancer of the cervix.
General Information on Pap Smear
- It is a simple procedure that uses brushing of the cervix by a small soft brush to remove cervical secretion with cervical cells. These removed cells are tested for signs of precancerous or cancerous changes.
- It is recommended between the age of 25 to 65 years of age.
