HPV Vaccine

HPV vaccine can help to prevent cervical cancer.

Vaccinating girls from 9 to 14 years of age before initiation of sexual activity is an important primary prevention intervention in a comprehensive cervical cancer prevention and control programme. The vaccines do not treat pre-existing HPV infection or HPV-associated disease, which is why vaccination is recommended prior to initiation of sexual activity. The WHO recommends two-doses of vaccine for 9–14-year-old girls, and three-doses for older females. Females above 25 years old who do HPV DNA tests can take the HPV vaccine if their test comes negative.

We provide WHO certified HPV Vaccine at our centers.

Note: Currently the vaccine is available at Samakhusi, Putalisadak, Chucchepati, & Satdobato centre.
